I haven't done any major fund-raising efforts. It's a local election. It should be grass roots.

So far it feels good to be ahead. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Any time you make changes, money has to come from somewhere.

The recall has caused a rift among every group. We need to start healing relationships and bringing people back together. I would invite people in opposition to work with the district, to work with me.

I am thrilled. I am going to eat something, have a drink and get some sleep.

I am a little disappointed in the process. It's not as tight of a process as I am comfortable with.
